Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie has been injured. He had to be carted off the sidelines against the New York Jets in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

It is believed that Badie has suffered a back injury. He suffered the injury on a play where it forced a fumble.

Badie was carrying the football when he was hit by Jets defender Quincy Williams. The Jets player hit him in the back that resulted in the fumble.

While Badie was on the sideline, he was showing movement. But he was put on a blue backboard and carted off the field.

Before departing the game, Badie had one carry. He also had two receptions for -4 yards.

The Broncos will update his condition if head coach Sean Payton has information to share once he meets with the media after the game. At press time, we do not have information if he has been transported to a nearby hospital.

The 24-year-old running back is in his second year in the league. Coming into the game with the Jets, Badie had 10 carries for 86 yards. He also had one reception for two yards.

Now the concern is not his play on the field. But his health and the severity of the injury that he suffered on the field that may impact if he is out for an extended period of time.

Badie is the second player to be carted off at MetLife Stadium in the past few days. Dallas Cowboys stud pass rusher Micah Parsons was carted off late in their win against the New York Giants during Thursday Night Football.
