“Just got off the phone with @Rico_Abreu about getting branded..,” Kenny Wallace said in a post on X. “RICO told me his family’s cattle brand Alfred Meyer Madrona Ranch it’s the 1/2 circle Flying Abreu were he grew up learning how to race. The brand is over 100 years old. He has been wanting to do this for many years the timing was right tonight😁❤️”

Branding is typically used on animals. However, human branding has been a thing for quite some time.

This branding process is where a symbol or even a pattern is branded onto the person. The branding intends to leave a scar that would eventually be a permanent marking of the symbol or pattern that they are branding onto their body.

For this type of branding, a hot branding iron is used in the process.

Abreu — who finished third on the High Limits tour — will have to deal with a long healing process. It could take up to six to eight weeks, according to online posts.

It may take longer than that. His healing will depend on several factors.

One factor would be the temperature of the branding iron that went on his chest. Another factor would be the amount of time the branding iron was on his skin.

Plus, it would depend on the thickness where he got branded.

Initially, in the video, a male said that the branding wasn’t on long enough. Then, another male in the room said that it was good enough.
