Truex Jr. raced with Tricon Garage with sponsorship support through Johnny Morris’ Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Boats. Tricon Garage is primarily a NASCAR Truck Series team that is owned by former NASCAR driver David Gilliland and former NHRA driver Johnny Gray.
Gray’s family member Tanner Gray, a fellow former NHRA driver, is a part of the team.
The veteran driver was a full-time driver in the NASCAR Cup Series for 21 years. He made his Cup Series debut in 2004 when he competed in two races.
