NEWARK, DE – The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens remained perfect against Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) teams this season. They had their third blowout of the season.
The Fightin’ Blue Hens won 43-17 on Saturday against the Duquesne Dukes on Saturday at Delaware Stadium.
The Fightin’ Blue Hens have won both meetings in the all-time series. The other contest in the series came during the 2010 season when they won 30-6.

They have outscored their FCS opponents 151-69 in the first four wins of the season. Delaware defeated the New Hampshire Wildcats 29-25 in their lone close game of the season.
Delaware (4-1) improved to 3-0 at home this season. Duquesne (2-3) fell to 1-3 on the road.
Fightin’ Blue Hens quarterback Ryan O’Connor went 28 of 40 for 347 yards. He had four touchdown passes and one interception.
Dukes quarterback Darius Perrantes went 9 of 17 for 128 yards. He had one touchdown pass and three interceptions.
Fightin’ Blue Hens running back Marcus Yarns had 11 carries for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Jojo Bermudez had seven receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown.
Dukes running back Edward Robinson had eight carries for 86 yards and one touchdown. Darryl Powell Jr. had two receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown.

The Fightin’ Blue Hens scored 17 points in the second half. O’Connor hit Chandler Harvin for a 57-yard touchdown reception.
O’Connor hit Joshua Youngblood for a seven-yard touchdown reception. O’Connor also connected with Phil Lutz for a 34-yard touchdown reception.
Delaware led 22-17 at halftime. Yarns scored on two one-yard rushing touchdowns. Following Yarns’ first touchdown, Yarns converted on a two-point conversion.
O’Connor hit Bermudez for a 12-yard touchdown reception.
Dukes’ Perrantes hit Powell Jr. for a 52-yard touchdown reception. Robinson scored on a 68-yard rushing touchdown.
Brian Bruzdewicz also made a 25-yard field goal.
