The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a devastating injury. Veteran player Brandon Graham said he has suffered a triceps injury.
As a result, Graham will miss the rest of the season. At press time, it is not clear if he will have to undergo surgery.
According to online reports from a variety of sites, Graham is looking at a several month revert time if it’s a completely torn triceps injury.
He had signed a one-year deal with the team in the offseason. Before the injury, Graham had intended this to be his final campaign in the NFL.
The 36-year-old had two tackles and a sack on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams. He also had a pass deflection.
Graham broke the news to the media in the Eagles locker room after their win. In the video, one media member thought Graham was lying when the veteran NFL player informed the press of his injury.
The longest tenured Eagles player was the backup to Nolan Smith Jr. on the left outside linebacker position. Now, backup linebackers Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Oren Burks, Jalyx Hunt, and Ben VanSumeren will get additional time filling in for Graham’s time on the Vic Fangio-led defense.
