Philadelphia — The Philadelphia Wings have dropped their last two home games. The Wings lost 14-10 on Saturday afternoon to the Halifax Thunderbirds at the Wells Fargo Center.
The team also lost 15-12 to the Rochester Knighthawks last Saturday. During this skid, the Wings dropped to two teams who had lesser records than them.

The team also went from the second-best team in the NLL standings to now the fifth-best team, before Saturday night games.
The Wings are now 5-4 overall under first-year head coach Ian Rubel. The Thunderbirds improved to 4-4 overall.
Philadelphia has not won at home since Martin Luther King Jr. Day. That’s when they defeated the Vancouver Warriors 14-13.
Michael Sowers was a bright spot for the Wings. He had two goals and an assist in his NLL debut.
He was acquired by the Wings in a trade with the Albany FireWolves in December.
In the fourth quarter, the Thunderbirds scored three straight goals to win the quarter. The Wings responded with two straight goals.
The Thunderbirds added a late goal towards the end of the game.
The Wings had four goals in the third quarter. Ryan Terefenko had two of the three Thunderbirds goals in the quarter.
Each team had two goals in the second quarter. The Thunderbirds outscored the Wings 5-2 in the first quarter.
Mike Robinson and Terefenko led the Thunderbirds with three goals apiece. Terefenko also had three assists.
Graeme Hossack, Jason Knox, Jake Withers, Colton Armstrong, Dawson Theede, Randy Staats, Wake:Riat BowHunter, and Thomas Hoggarth had one goal each. Withers had three assists.
Hossack had two assists, while Theede had one assist. Staats had two assists and Hoggarth had two assists.
Thunderbirds goaltender Warren Hill received the win. He allowed 10 goals but made 37 saves.
Joe Resetarits led the Wings with three goals. He also had three assists.
Sowers had the aforementioned two goals and one assist. Blaze Riorden, Phil Caputo, Holden Cattoni, Mitch Jones, and Brennan O’Neill had one goal each.
Cattoni and O’Neill had three assists each. Jones had eight assists.
Wings goalie Nick Damude received the loss. He allowed 13 goals and had 48 saves.
