Former Major League Baseball starting pitcher C.C. Sabathia has received the call to the Hall. This summer, he will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
The Class of 2025 also features Ichiro Suzuki and fellow pitcher Billy Wagner. Suzuki is the first Japanese player to get inducted into the Hall.
The 44-year-old pitcher played for three teams in his career. He played in the Big Leagues from 2001 through 2019.
He began his career with the Cleveland Indians (now the Cleveland Guardians). He also played briefly for the Milwaukee Brewers following a trade in July 2008.

As a starting pitcher, he went 251-161 in 561 games. He made 560 starts.
He also had 38 complete games. Sabathia had 12 shutouts in 3,577 1/3rd innings pitched.
